FilingRamp is acquiring Multiplayer

Today I'm thrilled to share that FilingRamp is acquiring Multiplayer.

If you've been following us, this won't come as a total surprise. FilingRamp has been a Multiplayer design partner from the very start, working shoulder to shoulder with their engineers to shape the product from the early days of auto-documentation all the way through to the AI debugging agent. That debugger is already embedded in the FilingRamp platform, quietly helping us serve our growing list of customers.

The timing couldn't be better. All the groundwork we laid in 2026 (SERFF Modernization, SOC 2 certification, and a wave of new features) let us expand our US portfolio and build a genuinely solid foundation for what comes next. We already have beta users eager to get these capabilities into production. Bringing Multiplayer in-house is how we get there faster.

Why Multiplayer

Multiplayer built something rare: an innovative, highly accurate way to understand the runtime state of an application and identify and resolve issues fast. Beyond the tech, they bring deep expertise in the AI space and a real talent for weaving new tools into developers' daily workflows without friction.

I've had the privilege of following this team's journey for years now. This summer it became clear that we're chasing many of the same dreams and share almost identical values. Adding the Multiplayer team accelerates our push toward the kind of features InsurTech desperately needs but rarely gets.

What They Bring To FilingRamp

  • Real-time collaboration. With Multiplayer's technology, teams can work together inside FilingRamp at the exact same moment. No lag, no stepping on each other's toes.

  • Smarter AI and data analytics. Multiplayer brings powerful AI features and serious data-processing muscle, making it easier for us to automate the tedious parts and give you deeper insight into your own data.

  • A world-class engineering team. We're gaining a highly skilled, battle-tested team that knows exactly how to build complex software and ship it faster.

What We're Building

Here's a look at we’ve built and what we’re working on:

  • Ramp AI is about catching problems before a regulator does. It reviews the form and rate/rule schedules of your filing drafts for compliance ahead of submission, flagging non-compliant language so your team can fix it while the filing is still in your hands rather than in an objection letter weeks later. Because compliance is never one-size-fits-all, the checklists are fully editable and filterable by state, TOI, and Sub-TOI, so what you're checking against actually matches the product you're filing. And you'll be able to chat directly with your own data (filings, objection letters, and everything in between) to get answers in seconds instead of digging through PDFs.

  • Agentic AI takes the next step, putting AI agents to work on the repetitive, time-consuming parts of the filing process while keeping your team firmly in control. Agents can assemble filing drafts, put together first-pass objection responses for your reviewers to refine, suggest and take action on new bureau circulars, and surface intelligent links between related forms across your Forms/Rates Library. Every action is something you review and approve, so you get the speed of automation without ever giving up oversight of what goes to the states.

  • FilingRamp Sandbox reflects something we take seriously in a regulated industry: your data belongs to you, and it should stay that way. Each customer gets a hosted, secure copy of their company's data on a single-tenant architecture, cleanly separated from everyone else's. From there, you can integrate your existing company data, run automations, and pull far more out of that data using AI, including fine-tuning custom LLMs on your own filings and history, and generating code and apps tailored to how your company actually works

Bright Future

This is a big step, but it's one we've been building toward together for a long time. Two teams, the same dreams, and a shared belief that the insurance industry deserves modern software worthy of the work it does.

We can't wait to show you what's next.
