Get the Latest on Our New Features - They’re Almost Here!

AI Assist

The AI Assist feature is almost here. V1 of this always evolving new functionality will allow companies to scan forms for compliance issues in all states for all P&C lines. Companies can scan forms for compliance while working on:

  • Filing drafts

  • Objection responses

  • Amendments

  • Auditing historic filings

They can even scan forms not in filings, such as competitor forms or in-development forms, for compliance in 1 or more/all states within the Ramp Drive feature.

The AI Assist feature also includes “Amendatory” functionality that allows a company to scan a policy form and state amendatory endorsement asynchronously to highlight what violations in the policy are (and are not) resolved by the state amendatory endorsement.

Tasks

Companies can already collaborate in FilingRamp with its chat, reminders, and objection assigning functionality. We’re taking this workflow up a notch with the new Tasks feature, which allows FilingRamp users to:

  • Create tasks related to Filings, Projects, Objections, and Circulars

  • Assign tasks to individuals or a group

  • Customize task subjects (e.g., Circular Review) and task stages (In-Progress, Complete, etc.)

  • Allow users to see “All My Tasks” on their Dashboard

And, of course, the Tasks feature will be an extension of the Teams and Slack integration.

Event Notifications

Users will be able to subscribe themselves to filing event notifications by email on each project page in FilingRamp. The email notifications will include the key filing and event details and provide a link to the actual project in FilingRamp.

Workspace Filter

Workspaces are being leveraged more and more by FilingRamp customers. FilingRamp plans on leaning into workspaces as a way to almost create mini-accounts within a company's FilingRamp account. One step in that direction is to ensure that "Workspace" is a filter in all locations within FilingRamp. We are starting with adding Workspace as a filter and visible column in the Reporting - Filings and Library - Forms & Rates features.

The SERFF Modernization - Getting Closer!

You may have heard about the upcoming SERFF Modernization. For a recap, SERFF is moving to a new, cloud-based platform. FilingRamp is working behind the scenes to ensure that their changes do not disrupt any of our customers experience or impact their data. Some quick highlights related to FilingRamp and the SERFF modernization:

  • FilingRamp has already integrated with the new SERFF API as part of Phase I of the SERFF modernization, which is limited to Compact filings. This process allowed our team to be very familiar with the new SERFF data API, the new objections (soon to be called “compliance issues”) process, and more.

  • Phase II of the SERFF modernization will impact approximately 10 early adopter states. Those early adopter states won’t necessarily move completely over to new SERFF on day 1, but may gradually make the move and initially start with certain TOIs/Sub-TOIs. This means that SERFF users will need to be using 2 SERFF platforms (legacy and modernized) for an undetermined period of time.

  • FilingRamp’s vision is that its users won’t need to concern themselves with whether or not a state has made the leap to the modernized SERFF platform and aims to provide a mostly unchanged filing process that mirrors what our customers currently experience in FilingRamp.
